Website Accessibility Statement
The Arizona Board of Osteopathic Examiners is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all users, including individuals with disabilities. As a small state agency, we are actively working to improve the accessibility of our website and online services in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the U.S. Department of Justice’s 2024 Title II web accessibility rule.
Pursuant to 28 C.F.R. Part 35, including the compliance timelines established for small public entities, the Board is working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standard, with a target compliance date of February 1, 2027.
As part of this effort, the Board is:
- Improving website structure and navigation for accessibility
- Converting key public information and services into accessible web formats
- Ensuring new documents and content meet accessibility standards
- Reviewing and prioritizing frequently used documents for remediation or conversion
Due to the volume of historical materials, some older PDF documents may not currently meet accessibility standards. These documents are maintained as part of the Board’s official records. Consistent with federal guidance, legacy content will be addressed through prioritized remediation and by providing accessible alternatives upon request.
If you need assistance accessing any content, including older documents, the Board will provide information in an alternative accessible format upon request.
